Waterproof, Inexpensive, Fast Set Up, and Light-Weight (2-Man Tent)
Barry K.
I read the reviews before purchasing this, there are no instructions on how to assemble, It can be a little confusing for new campers just because the poles are stiff and don't feel like they should bend. I was able to use reference pictures from another review and once you get the idea its very easy to assemble, It felt strong and for the price is a great tent.

Love this tent

I love camping in the summertime and this year I'll be ready. This tent is large enough for two adults and a small child to sleep comfortably in. It's closed off design keeps unwanted critters and bugs out and away from us as we sleep. It's durable and sturdy when set up. It's easy to assemble and can be done by one person in about 10-15 minutes. It's lightweight so it's perfect for hiking trips where you plan to be out all night. It's water resistant and doesn't leak at all. This is a nice gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.

This is a great backpacking tent. That being said, I would suggest that you bring this only for yourself and not for 2 people. If you have 2 people, its going to be quite crammed. Backpacks can fit in the rain cover on the sides but the rain cover wont come all the way down over them. It is ment for small items that need to stay dry such as shoes, a day pack, stove, or maybe some clothes.

Solid tent for the money

This tent is small but should be just right for my husband & I. It's double-layered so you can take off the vinyl to reveal netting all around for good air movement. However, there were NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS! We were fortunate that another buyer posted pictures in the reviews that helped us put it up. Seller should include instructions or at least pictures.

I used this tent throughout motorcycle cross country trip over six weeks and this tent has gone through some serious test. Rain, wind, sun name it! It withstood thunderstorm rains, 60km wind speed and rough gravel grounds. I am quite impressed with its quality. Its light, spacious for one person with belongings.
Design is similar to high end tent worth $300/400. The only thing I am not sure if it is 4 season tent as I did receive any snow. However I am sure is, this is a solid tent for 3 seasons. Money well spent!!!

I REALLY LIKE THIS TENT because it is very lightweight and easy to set up! The additional vent allows for a cross breeze on warm days and should allow condensation to escape on colder nights. The fly doesn't feel 'rubbery' like the silicon-coated foot-print mat, so I'm not sure how well it will shed the rain. I guess I will find out soon!

Purchased this to take on motorcycle camping trips. Fit perfectly in a backpack on the back of the bike. Could use better ventilation when sealed up but will do wonders in the fall. Fits two people perfectly with a bit of room at the feet for items/our riding boots and backpacks in the small entry area. Took seconds to set up honestly.

I used the tent for a recent camping trip was very easy to assemble was very sturdy and plenty of room.
Was very easy to fold and store as well.

I was really surprised with this tent! I used it for the first time under a heavy rain and thunderstorm. I was a bit worried that the tent wouldnt go through the night but it did and NO WATER came inside! It comes with a rain fly, which I didnt even put on. It is also spacious for 2people! My friend is 62 and had plenty of space, he was even able to sit without is head touching the top! Super easy to assemble as well, even if it doesnt come with a plan to tell you how to do it!

Absolutely amazing tent. Ultra lightweight, fit inside my 65L bag no problem. Also came with a foot print. No lose threads or wear when I first set it up. Very easy construction. Could sleep three, but perfect for 2 and gear. I would highly recommend this product, for the price and quality, youre getting better than most of the big name brands.
Rebecca
Great value! An all around great tent for the pricepoint!

The "Upgraded" version of this tent fixes several minor but irritating problems with the original version. The result is a light, compact, well made tent that sets up and breaks down quickly, vents well and keeps you dry in heavy rain.
Although billed as "free standing", you will need to peg out the back wall and the vestibule, as well as the fly sides, so might as well peg it all!
The included 4" aluminum pegs are good for grassy spots but are a bit short for soft ground and not strong enough for much gravel use. Upgrading to 6" pegs recommended if you camp on "challenging" ground.
The tent has plenty of room for 2 adults and their gear but would be tight for 3. The vestibule provides some storage but is limited because it's the only doorway.
Venting is excellent. All the seams are taped but I still run a bead of water based seam sealer over them. Treated thus, the tent stays dry in heavy rain, although there is some splash onto the lower wall from under the fly edge.
I use this for solo motorcycle camping and it is ideal, offering a luxurious amount of space for all my riding gear.
Look for my book "Easy Motorcycle Touring" here on Amazon. Ride Safely!

pretty decent tent. I was looking for something lightweight, packable and easy to build within a reasonable price.. this met all what i needed.. and it looks great. fully waterproof, my stuff survived heavy rain.. so happy camping!

Good tent, spent 2 nights 2 person with a dog with rain at 3*C with basic sleeping bags and never got wet or cold
Wolf-Force
This tent has worked great. Light, and very easy to carry. No problem setting it up and disassembling. The design was sturdy enough to last a night of moderate wind. Me and another family member were able to fit comfortably. It should be noted that the height of the tent is about a meter therefore getting in is a bit tougher for a taller individual. Rain Fly worked well and I left it partially open to have some air circulation during the night. So far a great product. Looking forward to using more on my upcoming camping trips.

Went backcountry canoe camping with this tent. It is lightweight and packs up quite small, easily fit into my backpack. The first night camping it poured rain and we stayed dry. Tent dried quickly the next day. It is pushing it to say it is three man. Two people in the tent take up all the space. You need to leave your backpack outside under the overhanging rain fly. Good tent at this price point. Recommend it.

Im incredibly impressed with this tent for the price. It is a Big Agnes Fly Creek 2 clone for a fraction of the price. I got the 210t poly version (green) as IMO the material performs better in sustained rainy conditions and is more durable than Silnylon.
The tent is 2 person but as everyone who camps knows that is 2 very close and somewhat small people! It is a fantastic 1 person tent.
The fabric, sewing, and poles all appear to be of high quality.
I took it out in mid July for a 4 night canoe trip in Algonquin park and it performed flawlessly. It is very easy to set up. Im 62 and fit inside perfectly with plenty of room for my gear.
All told Im very happy with my purchase

Note: Un dtail aga?ant. Bon service aprs-vente.

Took this little beauty on a hike with the kids. Very light tent. Easy to set up. Already had the earlier model, this one is better as it has the 4 pronged base meaning it stands on its own without the pegs. Great 2 person hiking tent. Great tent for the price
Gardner
I'd like to start off by saying I really like this little tent and plan on using it on various hiking trips with my GF moving forward. This is perfect for 2 person and has reasonable weight for the price.
Overall quality: Material is light but should old up to the test of time if well maintained. The accessories such as the spikes and attachment cords are of superior quality and top notch, as these are often the first items to breakdown on a tent I feel this is a nice touch. I feel this tent lacks in the waterproofing department simply on observing the material type, did a little test with a water bottle and this clearly wouldn't hold up well to some significant rain. But personally as for any tent I will apply water protecting spray on all appropriate surface and it will protect it significantly more.

I just got back from a quick 2 night 55km canoe trip in Algonquin park. The portages were long and very muddy. I was very glad to have upgraded my old 12lb 4 man tent to this ultralight 3 man. Only 2 of us slept in the tent but we are 6 and 64 and we fit fine. We opted to leave our packs under a tarp outside to have more space inside the tent. So far the tent held up great. It went down to 2 degrees C at night so there was condensation on the underside of the fly but under the right conditions Ive yet to see a tent where that doesnt happen (especially with two grown men in a small backpackin tent in the cold).
The vestibule is rather small but enough space for shoes, water and bear spray (just in case).
The tent assembled easily and the stakes are very nice. All of the lines are reflective and there are other reflective tabs on the fly which makes it nice and bright at night so you wont trip over the ropes. I researched a lot and to get a tent with these types of materials would cost 2 or even 3 times the price at MEC (I opted for the green silicone coated nylon). This tent is heavily inspired by the Fly Creek tent by Big Agnes so I cant give them too much props for engineering. Overall Im happy with my purchase.
Pittaras

Man sollte ohnehin etwas Gr?ssere einpacken.

Light, right price and roomy tent for 1..or 2
Amanda
Its very light inside, as in illumination not weight, although it is less than 2.0kg. Easy to erect however ensure guy lines are straight to prevent inner and flysheet touching.
A very good tent with the skirt excluding a majority of the draughts. Price is competitive.
Hawthorne
Amazingly lightweight. Can even get lighter when removing the floor mat and some cordage around 3lbs if you want to. Amazing quality too! Did not feel claustrophobic at all as the ceiling peaks high. Can fit two people in emergency or 1 person comfortably with gear.

Went across Canada with this tent by bike. It lasted the whole trip through hell of a ruff time from cold and hot westher to heavy rain and wind. Transport it on 5000 km, 48 days straight and used it most of the time. It is still a great shape and will go on my next adventure with it. Well worth the money and even more. Im 62 and I fit just right in it. If you are taller tho you probably wont fit. Great purchase and great quality!

It's a good tent. Used in fierce weather for 3 nights and days. Solid rain and wind. It held up perfectly. Light as a one man tent with plenty of extra space. Veru good for the price. I'm not a real fan of the entry at the front end, particularly in the wet. But it saves on some weight. I can recommend this tent.
Cherie
This tent has ample space for one person, provided that you're 6'2" or shorter. I'm 195cm or 6'5" and I'm pushing out the tent slightly both at my head and my feet. I can definitely use the tent this way, especially since it has a separate rainfly, but it's not ideal. You can definitely have two adults in this tent side-by-side if you're under 6' and not particularly broad-shouldered, but you'd be very cozy. This is not necessarily a bad thing and is, in fact, ideal in colder weather. That said, this tent might be an ideal size if you're an adult looking to take one of your kids camping and weight of your gear or warmth are a consideration. My 3-year-old son easily fit in the tent beside me and should continue to be pretty comfortable for at least a few years.
Aaron
This review is based on a single trip usage, I might have more accurate review after a few trips.
I was looking for a small, ultra light tent for single hiking and backpacking which might be fit to the weather conditions of the UK and as it seems, I found it.
I went wild camping after 25+ years of brake, so I became a bit soft (prefer warmer environment as ever before). I gained some extra weight during the lockdown (I am still not a giant, under 180 cm and luckily still under 80 kg).
It is easy to set up your tent if following the instructions. I was a bit surprised that the guy lines weren't attached, but it was no big deal to do it. I took all of my gears in an Osprey Talon 44 and after I set up my tent, laid down my Trekology UL80 sleeping mat with my sleeping bag on top, I still had enough room in the tent for my rucksack and myself, but there were no much of extra room left. I was lucky with the weather (the temperature was about 2-3 C at night), so I have no comment about the waterproofness of the tent yet.
There is only one fault I can mention. It supposed to be a clip on both side to clip the fly to the tent, but I have only on one side (it was never there, it is a mistake of manufacture).
Galati
Here are a few things to say about this tent.
1. It comes with all the necessary tools to set up the tent.
2. The material feels quite nice; should be able to take on the strong winds.
3. Definitely a smaller package than most other 2 person tents, great for packing it up for long trips.
Pate
This tent is ideal for 2 average size people with some extra room for a couple packs to stay dry. Parent and child will have tons of room. Great value. Nice lightweight tent that gets you going without costing a fortune. I recommend.
Elizabeth
I am gathering my equipment for hiking the Camino and PCT-I know two different kinds of hikes from what I read. As soon as I opened the box, I put the footprint down and the tent up in 5 minutes. It was easy and the head room in the tent is great! I am 5'2 and it looks like I will be able to put my back pack in the tent with me.
Michael H. Leeder
I splurged and bought the Cloud UP3 with the snow skirt. It was so easy to set up that it took less than 5 minutes without instructions. The ground sheet included is a bit bulky but I believe it is absolutely necessary to have something under the tent as a ground sheet as the nylon is very thing (cutting down on weight)
Poles were very robust and easily went together and broke down just as easy. Rain fly was simple to attach and detach. I wouldn't say this is a 4 season tent but a solid 3 season at least. Not Ultra-light but for the price you can't beat it. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking.
Schuller
disclaimer - I have not used this in the rain yet. I took this on one camping trip so far. It was easy to set up, the quality seems excellent. It came with the best pegs I have ever seen with a tent.
My son and I both slept comfortably. You could fit one more person and it would be squishy.
It looks like it will stand up really good in a rain storm. I comes with a ground sheet and the fly comes all the way down.
All in all this is an awesome tent at any price, but especially at the price I paid.
Tate
I love my new tent, tried it only once so far for 2 nights. It's super easy to set up and pack. When packed it fits easily into my hiking backpack and is light enough. It doesn't keep the warmth in much and the nights were chilly but I kind of expected it based on the design. It also does let the wind in quite a lot even when the top layer is set up tight so that's the only minus as it can get noisy and let the cold in even more on a windy night (which is what I had as I was camping near the sea shore).
Dayna
Very good tent. Up and down in 20 minutes for my first time setting up. Very easy to put back in bag. Spacious and good quality materials.
Amy
Soddisfatto!
Galletta
Sick tent at a sick price. Packs up so small and its soo sturdy

Easy to assemble. Good quality. Well protected from rain. There was a time when it was pouring rain at camp and we didn't even get wet. Amazing!

Posting this review to help people who may be choosing between the Cloudup 2person vs the Cloudup3 person as I own both.
Short version: My recommendation would be to get the Cloudup3 person, unless you are very concerned about the extra 2 lbs.
Long version: Added some pictures of both the cloudup2 and 3 person to show the differences.
Cloudup 2person: There is enough room for you to sleep, and place a pack in with you... thats about it. I am 6'1" tall and even if i position myself diagonally my head and feet are rubbing the tent wall, which is not terrible, but annoying. In terms of weight and size, this tent packs really small and really light... it can easily strap outside or even fit inside a backpack.. is an ok Solo tent for an under 6ft individual.
Cloudup 3 person: My personal preference between the two. I find the extra 2 lbs is worth the addtional space and comfort. Solo, there is more than ample space. As mentioned i'm 6'1", and can lay straight without issue.. lots of room for my pack and even to lay out stuff. You could comfortably sleep two people in this tent.. however, two people with two backpacks would be snug, but ok. It still packs relatively small and easily straps outside a pack. It could fit but would take up some space inside a pack
Irene
Great value and looks quality
Agas
great tent, the aluminum poles feel well made and very strong. I wouldn't call this a 4 season tent in Canada, but maybe it would be down south. fits 1 6'6" person comfortably, but no room for a second person.
Scott
I've used this tent a lot this summer. It's a lightweight tent, and very easy to set up and take down. It's light enough at 3 pounds approx (I haven't weighed it) but you can go lighter without the footpad. Though the fabric might tear easy. The light weight aspect makes it likely to tear on rough ground.
The zippers are not good. They have some thin fabric on them that fell off of one on the first day. Not a huge deal but annoying.
Inside there is only one small pouch for putting belongings in. I would like to see some more space for stuff as it's not very big.
Other than that, totally worth the price. It's a real breeze to set up by yourself. I can have it up in five minutes. Taking it down is harder since I've given up trying to fit the poles in the accompanying storage pouch along with the tent and rain cover.
If you're not over 6 feet tall, this is a great tent. I fit everything, including my 65 litre bag, inside the tent with me and sleep wonderfully. Though on a windy night, I did feel the breeze coming through. It's not a winter tent. But for summer it's great, lightweight, and affordable.
Linowski
No problems. Packs up so small and is very light. Really love it. Did fine in the rain. We use this for motorcycle camping for 2 people. Tip: split the tent in 2 with compression bags. I did a lot of research before buying a tent, and this tent is such good quality for your money.
Wish there was a place to attached a light in the middle of the ceiling.
Higginbotham
My second Naturehike tent and just as impressive as the first one. Quality construction, innovative design using lightweight materials that bring the weight down to 3lbs when stripped down to bare minimum. Perfect for bikepacking expeditions where weight and pack size are of most importance.
Verdoni
I bought the green tent for my trip, small and lightweight, easy to set up. But I am afraid it can not be used in winter, I should have bought the gray one with skirt. It would be better if the tent is a upgraded one and with skirt, that would be perfect! Anyway, it is quite a reasonably priced tent!
Seral
Good so far. Would be absolutely terrible for winter, dont recommend that at all, but for an affordable tent thats decently light for summer hiking, its been good value!

Arrived quick, super easy to set up and survived a very windy trip as well as some rain. Plus its a great colour Overall pretty stoked.

Good quality, easy to install, and children like playing inside.
Russell
Excellent quality tent. I honestly did not expect much from it but wow. This is quality stuff. Also this a true 2 person tent. Meaning if properly set up, it can sleep two on regular sized matts but that's it. No room for anything else in there for sure. I am 6'3" and two of me could fit there no problem. I bought this as a bike packing tent for one, and it's more that I could ask for.
You get:
Ground sheet, quality pegs, extra guy lines, tent and the fly.
Talley
I put it up in my living room but i did not try it yet outside.it is really small and Light.it fit in my bike pannier and in my backpack easily.it look a little less waterproof than my msr elixir 2 but i will see later how it will perform.there was a pole bent when i opened it.is it normal thing? Should i have this replace?

Have had a chance to use this tent in both fair, windy and wet weather now and have found it to perform well .
It didn't leak at all and did not collapse in the wind. Adequate ventilation .
It is very easy to erect and pack away . With the footprint, all the pegs and ropes this tent weighs 2.1kg which was more than I expected , however a few hundred grams could be eliminated by removing non essentials.
Plenty of room to sit up inside and for a pack with one person, would be tight but doable with 2 people.
Impressed with the quality for price with this tent. Great for budget conscious and new hikers.

Perfect quality solo tent!

No Dislikes, My best 3 tents ever! (I have a One, Two and a Three man Naturehike tents.) I like how light and small they are when packed up. The tents are easy to put up and take down, There Great for Backpacking if you want light weight. I use the Naturehike 3-man tent the most for the last 3 camping seasons for motorcycle Road trips (45 to 50 set-ups) and still like new condition, I have no issues what so ever with all 3 of my Naturehike tents, all zippers working just fine still. The two Man is great for one person and storage room, or 2 people Under 5' 6" tall, A little Storage room for to Backpacks, and boots at the front. It's best to get the snow skirt version, this keeps the wind out of tent at night, and you can lift them to let wind in the day to air out these fast drying tents, (There easy to dry up when wet.)
Miller
Great tent! Easy to set up and very lightweight for the money. I would say its a stretch to call it a two person tent. More like cozy one person tent.
Ann
The tent is well made, the seams are taped and corners are reinforced. The main body of the tent and rainfly are separate and there is a decent amount of space between the two. The rainfly has plenty of overhang while maintaining airflow. This is ideal for minimizing condensation and water ingress.
There is an ample vestibule space at the entrance and there is also additional space on the sides of the tent when the rainfly down. The tent also has plenty of tie-down points to be more comfortable in colder weather and withstand strong winds. There is also a vent above the entrance to aid in ventilation without any water ingress. On a warm day, sides of the tent can also be rolled up to partially uncover the mesh, which provides great cross-ventilation while still providing a bit of an overhang and protecting against minor rain. If you then also open the vestibule door, you get most of the advantages of the open-mesh tent while being only a few seconds away from full rain protection.
What I also like is that the entrance the entrance zipper opens really wide making entry/exit easy. The angle of the entrance is just enough to stand up while keeping my feet inside the tent. By the way, the entrance is near the widest part of the tent, close to where you head is when you're asleep.
As far as assembly goes, all key connections on the tent are color coded and the tabs to hold rolled up parts of the rainfly are reflective. This makes them easy to find, even at night. The setup is a bit unconventional but also easy once you get the order of operations figured out (more on that in a bit). I also like that the rainfly comes pre-attached to the tent, making setup take under 15 minutes, most of which is spent staking the tent down.

This little thing is a tank. Its way lighter than any onther tent I've purchased and so easy to hike in with. In 2 days we literally tested it in spring and winter. Day 1 it was 60 and sunny and then we woke up day 2 with 5 inches of snow the next morning but were totally comfortable in this tent. Its a bit small for 3 people bit fit my girlfriend, dog, and I really comfortably with warmth and no issues at all. Will update as needed but overall very imoressed with this tent.

Great tent for the price, went on an overnight camp in the rain and did not have any issues with leakage.
Minor complaint, had slight issue with the zipper on the fly catching, but do not let this deter you from a purchase.
Im medium to big build and 510 I fit in the tent comfortably.

Took this tent out for a quick motorcycle camping trip, it's lightweight, packable & roomy enough for 1 person + gear. Definitely happy with the darker color as it stays dark in the early morning longer and doesn't glow if there's a light on inside.

Great hiking tent. Took this on an overnight hike and it held up quite well despite strong winds.

Haven't used it for real yet, but set it up on delivery.
Very easy, free standing setup.
Looks well made and the inclusion of the footprint/ground sheet was a nice touch.
I do wish that the poles were lighter as they appreciably contribute to the otherwise very good lightweight status.
Multi pitching options mean very light weight possibilities and the pegs are very good quality too.

Great little tent for backpacking/ Just got back from a test night at a campground with my dog, Enough room for my 6'2 frame, gear, and my dog inside the tent. Got a bit windy overnight but this tent blocked most of it and vented enough that there was no condensation when I woke up.

The 2 person size is good for one person, but would be tight for 2 people. I haven't used it in cold weather yet, but I'm sure it will keep me warm. It was easy to setup and take down. It is a real nice lightweight tent for the price.

I seldom write a review to the stuff i buy, but this one deserves a shoutout. I've recently used this tent on two of my backpacking trips (Berg Lake trail and Assiniboine), and couldn't have been happier. This tent is packed light, and cheaper compared to other brands. You get more than your money's worth. I wasn't fond of how tight the inside was at first, but I'm small, so i got used to it. If not for the moisture that builds inside the tent, i would give this review 5 stars, but aside from that I'm very happy with this purchase. Keep it up Naturehike. I'm excited to try your other equipments.
