I put this through the ringer. 4 days on Eagle Rock loop in Southern Arkansas (most difficult trail in Arkansas). Very comfortable. I��m a short guy, but have a thick chest and shoulders. It cinched up well, but has plenty of room for a taller person. It was very water resistant as well. We got stuck in a couple of downpours, and all my gear stayed dry (big mental relief when you��re away from shelter).

I wanted a large and light backpack for overnight to multi-day trips. I have a much larger and some smaller packs from REI and Osprey but wanted something lighter that would still let me go winter camping. It isn't large enough for me to carry extra gear for kids, etc. but it hit the sweet spot for me on solo trips. On a random note, I actually really enjoyed having the water bottle holder (won't hold a 1 liter but will hold a .750) right at the chest, since I've never like bladders much. I know a lot of videos talk about the mesh pocket in the back and this is my first pack with one. I loved being able to put the, "I want this sort of close" stuff (puffy, trowel, foam pad, etc.) in there and go. It also let me shed layers as I warmed up in the mornings in basically no time.

First thoughts: the stitching is good, the bag looks durable. I'm 185cm and the hip belt is just barely SMALL enough for me to put most of the weight on it. The hip belt is way to big for my girlfriend. I wouldn't recommend the pack for short/small people. The elastic lines for holding trekking poles aren't the ones listed. The shoulder straps are a little bulky. The water bottle pockets are plenty large. I thought this was a 40L+16 but its closer to a 50L+20. for the price I think its a good pack and I look forward to testing it further.

I purchased this as I needed a rugged daypack where I didn't worry about weight so much or ruining the bag due to the environment (little heavy but lighter bags are also twice the cost). The bag sufficed and was a great value. I still carried 30lbs of camera equipment along with trail necessities with no issue and bag was comfortable. This bag also doubled as a carry-on for my flights. I am not using this bag as my main multi-overnight bag but it will be good for a night or two and great for carrying heavier loads than a normal backpack. I used this in harsh environments and it is holding up with no issues.

Purchased this pack for five to ten mile day hikes. Perfect size for essentials as well as my lunch. Deep pockets keep the water bottles snug. Zippers and other materials high quality. Very comfortable on the back. Lots of internal pockets. Waist belt sits comfortably on hips. A great pack.

This pack was put through the paces in a trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It came through without any damage and carried everything needed. I'm about 84 cm in waist and I needed to adjust the hip blet as tight as it was possible. There is no hole from the inside of the backpack into outside for water bladder's pipe (however you have a loop inside the backpack). I' thinking about seams in the place where hip belt is connected with main compartment - will they are strong enough for long term and intensive use?

Solid. Wore this for 3.5 hours on a hike in the rain. Never stoped raining. Didn��t get any rubbing or soreness and it carried all of my extra stuff. Note that this is not a waterproof bag and you will have to get an additional cover or use bags inside to keep your gear dry
